Sarl château Bellerive
Loire Valley, France
About the Winery
Industrialist Alain Château has owned a 38-hectare winegrowing ensemble since 2004, comprising three properties: Château de la Guimonière (Coteaux-du-Layon, Anjou Rouge, and Cabernet-d'Anjou), Château de Varennes (Savennières), and Château Bellerive (Quarts-de-Chaume). The Quarts-de-Chaume appellation is one of the Loire Valley's most prestigious sweet wine designations, produced from Chenin Blanc grapes affected by noble rot. The estates produce a range of wines showcasing the diversity of the Anjou region, from sweet botrytized wines to dry reds and whites.
“A 38-hectere portfolio of three Loire estates including Château Bellerive in the prestigious Quarts-de-Chaume appellation.”
