About the Winery
Bernard and Marjorie Rondeau established Domaine Rondeau in 1998 in Boyeux-Saint-Jérôme in the Bugey region. They currently manage an 11-hectare vineyard, joined by their son Émile in 2025. The estate produces wines in the Bugey AOP, a small appellation nestled between the Jura and Savoie regions at the foot of the Grand Colombier mountain. The domain specializes in traditional grape varieties of the region including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Mondeuse, and Gamay, crafting wines that reflect the unique terroir of scree limestone slopes.
“An 11-hectare family estate in Bugey since 1998, crafting wines from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Mondeuse on limestone scree slopes.”
