About the Winery
Didier Rassat has been running a diversified farm since 1984, initially specializing in cereal farming and dairy cattle. In 1995, he diversified into viticulture by joining a group of young winegrowers called the Cave Romane de Brinay, a collective that shares winemaking facilities. This cooperative approach allows small-scale producers to pool resources and expertise. The Cave Romane de Brinay is located in the Brinay area of the Loire Valley, where members produce wines from the region's classic grape varieties including Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Franc, and Gamay.
“A diversified farmer turned winegrower in 1995, participating in the Cave Romane de Brinay cooperative in the Loire Valley.”
