Domaine Grosbois
Panzoult, 37220 Chinon, France
About the Winery
A former 15th-century fortified farm located on the heights of the Chinon coteau. The Grosbois family has cultivated vines there since 1850; a long tradition continued since 2008 by Nicolas, who explored the wine world in France and abroad (Chile, Oregon, Australia...) before taking over this 15-hectare vineyard farmed organically and biodynamically. His brother Sylvain joined him in 2019. The estate produces Chinon AOP wines from Cabernet Franc and Chenin Blanc, with a focus on low yields and high planting density.
“A former 15th-century fortified farm in Chinon with 15 hectares of organic and biodynamic vines, run by brothers Nicolas and Sylvain Grosbois.”
