Scea Saint-Amant
About the Winery
One of the highest domaines in the Rhône Valley. Created in 1992 by Nathalie and Jacques Wallut, a retired business owner, it is today directed by their daughter Camille Nosworthy and Éloïse. The 13 hectares of vines are arranged in terraces between 400 and 600 meters altitude, on the flank of Mont Saint-Amant in the heart of the Dentelles de Montmirail. The estate produces AOC Côtes-du-Rhône, Côtes-du-Rhône Villages, and Beaumes-de-Venise wines. The high altitude, draining limestone soils, and strong thermal amplitude give the wines remarkable freshness and elegance rare in the region.
“The highest estate in the Rhône Valley, with 13 hectares of terraced vines between 400-600m altitude in the Dentelles de Montmirail.”
