Françoise Bedel

About the Winery

Established in the Marne valley, downstream from Château-Thierry, Françoise Bedel took over part of the family estate in 1979. Since 1998, she has cultivated her 8.4 hectares of vines using biodynamics. In 2003, her son Vincent joined her. These growers practice parcel-by-parcel vinification and often age their wines in oak barrels. The domaine is certified organic and biodynamic, making it one of the leading estates in biodynamic Champagne production. The wines are marked by their long ageing on lees, producing Champagnes with unique character and great depth.
