About the Winery
After World War II, Robert Guérin, a winegrower in Chenac-sur-Gironde, turned to the production of Pineau des Charentes. His children developed the family business to found the Société Puy Gaudin in 1967. From the 1980s, Puy Gaudin products were marketed in large retail under the 'Guérin Frères' brand. Today, the grandchildren and great-grandchildren run the company, continuing the tradition of Pineau and Cognac production in the Charentes region.
“A family company founded in 1967, producing Pineau des Charentes and Cognac in Chenac-sur-Gironde for four generations.”
