About the Winery
Domaine San Micheli, one of the oldest in the Corse Sartène appellation, has been in the Phelip family since the 18th century. Jean-Paul and Bénédicte Phelip took over the reins in 1980. Located on a hillside with granite arena soils, exposed to the southwest, their vineyard covers 25 hectares. The estate produces red, Rose, and white wines under the Corse Sartène AOP, working with indigenous Corsican grape varieties including Sciaccarellu, Niellucciu, and Vermentinu.
“One of the oldest estates in the Corse Sartène appellation, run by the Phelip family since the 18th century, with 25 hectares on granite soils.”
