The meeting of a medieval tower and moats with an Enlightenment-era residence results in a remarkably harmonious ensemble. Château La Tour Carnet dates back to the 12th century with its tower, surrounded by moats. Since 2000, this château and its vast 118-hectare vineyard established on a splendid terroir of gravelly soil has been one of four classified growths owned by Bernard Magrez, a businessman and collector of vineyards. The estate is one of the oldest in the Médoc and has a rich history spanning centuries. Its wines are known for their elegance and ageing potential, reflecting the unique terroir of Saint-Laurent in the Haut-Médoc appellation.
