Domaine de la Petite Roche
About the Winery
This venerable family domaine in Haut-Layon was founded in 1791, shortly after the French Revolution. Today it encompasses 80 hectares of vines planted on argilo-schistous, gravelly, and silty-sandy soils, led by Gwenaëlle Regnard, supported by Antoine Poupard in the vineyard and cellar since 2007. Half of the estate's production is devoted to Rose wines (Cabernet-d'Anjou and Rose-d'Anjou), but it also distinguishes itself in other colors. The estate practices vineyard techniques that protect and encourage biodiversity and has obtained TerraVitis and HVE3 certifications. They produce three different ranges: 'les Essentiels', 'l'Origine', and 'L'AngeVin'.
