About the Winery

An ancient domain located near the Saint-Gilles abbey and acquired in 1887 by Hippolyte Dardé, a wine merchant in Paris. His distant heirs Benoît, installed in 1991, and his son Paul, who arrived in 2015, are now at the helm and produce quality Costières-de-Nîmes in all three colors. The vineyard has 80 hectares. The estate produces wines from the Costières-de-Nîmes appellation, benefiting from the unique terroir of rounded quartzite pebbles ('galets') deposited by the Rhône and Durance rivers, which store heat during the day and release it at night.

An 80-hectare estate near Saint-Gilles, acquired in 1887, now producing quality Costières-de-Nîmes wines in all three colors.
