About the Winery
Established in Sancerrois since the 17th century, Domaine Balland-Chapuis (about 30 hectares today), operated since 1998 by the Saget family and located in the charming winegrower village of Bué, is today a owner in the Sancerre, Pouilly-Fumé, and Coteaux-du-Giennois appellations. The estate produces wines from Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir, expressing the unique Kimmeridgian limestone and flint terroirs of the region.
“A historic estate in Sancerre since the 17th century, with about 30 hectares in Sancerre, Pouilly-Fumé, and Coteaux-du-Giennois.”
