About the Winery

Founded in 1925, this cooperative brings together over 650 hectares of vines and 80 members, making it one of the oldest Rhône cellars and the main producer of the AOC Rasteau. In 2025, for its centenary, the Cave de Rasteau regained its independence by leaving the Rhonéa group. Ortas is its umbrella brand. The cellar produces 4 million bottles per year, exporting to more than 20 countries. The cooperative produces Cru Rasteau (red and natural sweet wine), Côtes du Rhône, and Côtes du Rhône Villages wines from Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre.
