About the Winery

Located at the foot of the Pyrenees and the Col du Perthus, this family domain managed since 1995 by Patricia and Pierre Alquier was established in 1898. With 32 hectares of vines, it is established on the superb terroir of the Albères - wonderful both for its landscapes and for the expression of finesse and minerality that the acidic soils of the Pyrenean foothills give to the wines. The estate is a benchmark of the Faugères appellation, producing wines of great typicity from Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre on schist soils.
