About the Winery
In the 16th century, a Scotsman named De May received lands for services rendered to France. Odette Barreau-Badar and her sons Jean-Luc and Patrick are today at the helm of this small 5.5-hectare cru in the Certan sector, installed on clay-gravel terroir shared with prestigious neighbors, at the heart of the Pomerol appellation. The Vieux Château Certan area is known for producing some of Bordeaux's most sought-after wines. The estate's wines are a safe and regular value of Pomerol, produced on exceptional terroir alongside neighbors like Vieux Château Certan, Hosanna, and Petrus.
“A small 5.5-hectare Pomerol estate in the prestigious Certan sector, on clay-gravel terroir shared with legendary neighbors.”
