About the Winery

A domain founded in 1947 on the dependencies of the medieval Château d'Orfeuilles by Paul Hérivault. His son Bernard and, since 2000, his grandson Arnaud have taken the reins, leading a 24-hectare vineyard certified in organic and biodynamic agriculture, planted on terroir rich in flint. From the original château, only the moats and a well remain. The estate produces wines from the Vouvray and Touraine appellations, with Chenin Blanc as the principal grape variety. The wines are known for their purity and expression of the flint-rich terroir, producing dry, semi-dry, and sweet white wines as well as sparkling wines made by traditional method.
