André Blanck et ses Fils
About the Winery
Located in the historic center of Kientzheim, this property has its headquarters in the former Court of the Knights of Malta, neighboring the Château Schwendi and the Wine Museum. The Blanck family has been cultivating vines since 1675. Michel and Charles, sons of André, have developed this heritage with talent before passing it on in 2025 to Quentin, the seventh generation. The estate has 16 hectares, of which over 65% are located in Grands Crus (Schlossberg, Furstentum) or lieux-dits. The estate is in organic conversion. The family produces Alsace AOC wines, Alsace Grands Crus, Crémant d'Alsace, and Sélection de Grains Nobles. Their motto is 'Durat et lucet' - 'Persevering in effort, brilliant in success'.
“The Blanck family has cultivated vines in Kientzheim since 1675 across 16 hectares, including over 65% in Grands Crus, now in its 7th generation.”
