Domaine Brizi
About the Winery
The estate was created in 1920 by Napoleon Brizi's grandfather. With 12 hectares (in organic conversion) located near the northern gates of Saint-Florent, it is one of the historic properties of the Patrimonio appellation in Corsica. After the passing of Napoleon Brizi in 2014, and then oenologist Alain Mazoyer in 2020, a new team took over. The wines are vinified at the Orenga cellar while waiting for a new winery to be built (planned for 2025-2026). The domaine produces two ranges: Iniziale (AOP Patrimonio Blanc, Rose, Rouge) and Rialzu (parcel selections with differentiated aging). A Muscat du Cap Corse is also produced.
“A historic estate created in 1920 near Saint-Florent in Corsica, with 12 hectares in organic conversion producing Patrimonio wines across three colors.”
