About the Winery

An elegant 19th-century château with park and gardens commands this 23-hectare estate. The property has been in the same Franco-Dutch family since 1937 and has been managed by Wilfrid Franc de Ferrière since 1992. In 2019, the estate began conversion to organic agriculture with Ecocert, and since 2021 has been converting to biodynamic agriculture (Demeter). The property includes 56 acres of vineyards, 64 acres of pastures with Aquitaine Blond cows, and 15 acres of woods. Since 2016, the Sainte-Foy appellation has been part of the Union des Côtes de Bordeaux. Pierre and Hugo Franc de Ferrière are now taking over the family business.

A 19th-century château with 23 hectares in the same Franco-Dutch family since 1937, now converting to biodynamic agriculture with a unique farm-vineyard ecosystem.
