About the Winery

Marie-Pierre Chevassu-Fassenet is a vigneronne in the Jura region, managing a 4.5-hectare estate. The vines were planted by her parents, who were cattle farmers. Nestled in greenery on the heights of Menétru, the family home is a former tile factory with cellars dating back to the 18th century. Marie-Pierre took over this very consistent quality domaine in 2008 after working in other vineyards. She produces the full range of traditional Jura wines including Crémant, Vin de Paille, Macvin, and Vin Jaune (Château-Chalon), as well as modern reds (Pinot Noir and Poulsard) that are carefully sorted and manually destemmed. The estate practices organic farming.
