Domaine pascal et mireille Renaud
About the Winery
Since 1987, Pascal and Mireille Renaud have led the former property of the Balladur family. They are now assisted by their children Guillaume and Amandine in cultivating the 19-hectare vineyard, mainly in the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation. The estate's vines are on the famous Solutré-Pouilly slopes with deep chalky soils, producing wines of great precision with beautiful mineral tension. The Vieilles Vignes cuvée comes from vines aged 55-80 years. In 1998, when the Delacour-Balladur family decided to sell, they naturally chose the Renauds to take over. The estate has expanded to include parcels in Mâcon-Solutré and Saint-Véran.
“Pascal and Mireille Renaud lead this 19-hectare estate, mainly in Pouilly-Fuissé, with parcels on the famous Solutré-Pouilly slopes producing mineral-driven Chardonnay.”
