Fresnet-Juillet
About the Winery
Founded in 1952 by Gérard Fresnet, who decided to bottle his own champagne and renovated an old family cellar in Verzy at the heart of his vineyard. The cellars were dug entirely by hand between 1955 and 1997. His son Vincent took over in 1991 and installed a new winery and pressing facility. The estate cultivates 5.8 hectares between Verzy (Grand Cru) and Bisseuil (1er Cru), planted with 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay. Fresnet-Juillet is a member of the prestigious Club Trésors de Champagne, and their Special Club cuvée is a limited production of 2,500 bottles. The estate is known for enhancing the scents and essences of its unique terroir through traditional methods.
“A family Champagne house founded in 1952, member of Club Trésors de Champagne, cultivating 5.8 hectares in Verzy Grand Cru and Bisseuil Premier Cru.”
