About the Winery
This small domaine was acquired by the Valat family (owners of Château Saint Maurice in Laudun) in 1988. Christophe Valat manages an 11-hectare vineyard situated behind the Roquemaure fault, on calcareous sandy soils. The name 'Boucarut' comes from a monk who once worked these lands. The estate produces wines from the unique terroir of this geological formation in the southern Rhône Valley.
