About the Winery
This domaine, whose origins date back to 1840, has been managed since 2006 by Sylvain Rebeilleau (sixth generation). The vineyard extends over 32 hectares around the wine village of Varrains in the Saumur region. The estate produces Saumur Champigny (red from Cabernet Franc) as well as white Saumur wines from Chenin Blanc. The wines express the terroir of Varrains, known for its tuffeau limestone soils that give the wines their characteristic freshness and minerality.
“A six-generation estate since 1840 in Varrains, with 32 hectares producing Saumur Champigny and white Saumur.”
