About the Winery

The Hertz family has cultivated vines since the 18th century and has lived from wine since the early 20th century, with a shop in the historic center of the medieval city of Eguisheim, south of Colmar. Established in 1979, Bruno Hertz, oenologist, manages 6 hectares, including several parcels in Grand Cru (Pfersigberg, Rangen). The property is certified HVE (High Environmental Value). The estate produces wines that express the exceptional terroir of Eguisheim, from classic Alsace varieties to Grand Cru selections.
