Earl patrick et mathieu Beyer
About the Winery
Epfig, not far from Barr, has one of the largest vineyards in Alsace. Xavier Beyer established his estate here in 1920 and sold the first bottles. Patrick, his grandson, expanded the property to 9 hectares and passed it on to Mathieu in 2004. The parcels are spread across five communes: Epfig, Dambach-la-Ville, Itterswiller, Eichhoffen, and Bernardvillé. The family has been Independent Winegrowers for four generations, remaining faithful to vineyard work, respect for nature, and quality production. The domaine practices reasoned agriculture and produces all 7 traditional Alsace grape varieties plus Crémant d'Alsace.
“Four generations of Independent Winegrowers in Epfig since 1920, with 10 hectares across 5 communes.”
