Bertrand Bachelet

About the Winery

Son of Jean-Louis and grandson of Bernard Bachelet, winegrowers established in Dezize-lès-Maranges well before the creation of the Maranges appellation in 1988, Bertrand Bachelet took over the family domaine in 2011. The estate covers 11 hectares in the Maranges appellation, producing Pinot Noir red wines that express the character of this lesser-known but promising Burgundy appellation. The wines are vinified with traditional methods and aged in oak barrels.
