Domaine Damiens
About the Winery
A domaine founded in the 1970s by André Beheïty, restructured by his son Pierre-Michel from 2008, with higher planting density and new terroirs explored, while maintaining old vines on 6 hectares. Today, the estate has 16 hectares of vines converted to organic farming, which Pierre-Michel now runs with his younger sister Marie. The domaine is located in the heart of the Madiran and Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh appellations. The Béheïty family has kept the family tradition of vine growing for three generations while bringing it 'up to date' and perpetuating the style of their grape varieties and terroirs. The estate offers tastings in the barrel cellar in a warm, family atmosphere.
“A family estate in Madiran for three generations, now with 16 hectares of organic vineyards in the heart of the appellation.”
