Domaine éric Rominger
About the Winery
Located in the Vallée Noble, south of Colmar, the domaine was created in 1970 by Éric Rominger's father in Bergholz. Éric took over in 1986 and quickly distinguished himself in wine guides. Since 2015, Claudine Rominger manages the property, which is farmed biodynamically. The vineyard covers approximately 11-12 hectares, of which more than a third is in Grand Cru (Saering and especially Zinnkoepflé, a majestic south-facing slope rising to over 400 meters). The wines are characterized by dense fruit, marked minerality, and sizzling acidity. No wine from the domaine will ever disappoint - they offer a well thought-out and homogeneous range of excellent wines with great finesse for all budgets.
“Biodynamic estate in the Vallée Noble with significant Grand Cru Zinnkoepflé holdings, known for minerality and finesse.”
