Domaine de la Casa Blanca
16, av. de la Gare, 66650 Banyuls-sur-Mer, France
About the Winery
In 2021, Casa Blanca, one of the oldest cellars in Banyuls (established 1870), partnered with Domaine Nénu, created in 2017 in the Collioure appellation. On this small domaine (7 hectares in organic conversion), Hervé Levano and Rasmus Olesen use vine winches, tillers, and brush cutters to avoid herbicide use, and sheep graze in the vineyard. The domaine produces wines in the Banyuls and Collioure appellations, practicing organic and sustainable viticulture in the stunning coastal terroir of the Languedoc-Roussillon.
“One of Banyuls' oldest cellars (1870), now producing organic wines from steep coastal vineyards with sheep grazing.”
