About the Winery

Established near Colmar, in the village of Katzenthal nestled in a valley dominated by the Wineck castle keep, Emmanuel Ecklé has managed the 9.5-hectare family domaine since 1996. The domaine was expanded and dedicated to viticulture by his father Jean-Paul. The estate is a reliable producer, particularly noted for its Crémants and Rieslings from Grand Cru Wineck-Schlossberg and the lieu-dit Hinterburg. The wines are vinified with precision and express the unique terroir of the Katzenthal valley. The family welcomes visitors for tastings and tours.
