Domaine claude et christophe Bléger
About the Winery
Heirs to a winemaking lineage dating back to 1630, Christophe Bléger joined his father Claude in 2005. The Bléger family, originally from Switzerland, arrived in Alsace in the 17th century and settled at the foot of the Haut-Kœnigsbourg castle. The tandem cultivates nearly 10 hectares (9.5 ha) of vineyard across four communes (Orschwiller, Kintzheim, Saint-Hippolyte, and Bergheim) and 30 parcels, all farmed organically (certified since 2007/2012). The domaine produces the full range of Alsace wines: dry whites, semi-dry, sweet, Rose, red, and sparkling (Crémant), totaling around 20 different cuvées and 70,000 bottles per year. Their flagship cuvée is the Riesling Inoubliable, a dry, precise Riesling with remarkable freshness and balance.
“Organic winemakers since 1630 at the foot of Haut-Kœnigsbourg, producing all Alsace grape varieties across 30 parcels in 4 villages.”
