Château Tour Montbrun
About the Winery
The Château Tour Montbrun is located on the heights of the former citadel of Montravel, dismantled under Louis XIII, overlooking the Dordogne valley. The small 6-hectare vineyard is situated on the site of the ancient citadel of Montravel. It is cultivated in organic agriculture by Milène and Philippe Poivey. The estate produces Bergerac red wines with aromas of black fruits evolving towards spicier notes, and Bergerac sec wines that seduce with their freshness and floral profile. The wines are distributed in local shops and are best appreciated on site, facing the history-laden panorama.
