Domaine Pierre Cros is a renowned family winery in Badens, in the Minervois appellation of Languedoc. Pierre Cros is known as one of the region's most respected winemakers, producing powerful and expressive wines from old vines. The estate cultivates traditional Languedoc grape varieties including Carignan, Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre, with many vines over 50 years old. The Minervois terroir, with its mix of limestone, clay, and schist soils, combined with the Mediterranean climate, gives the wines their characteristic depth and complexity. Cros is committed to minimal intervention winemaking, allowing the old vines and unique terroir to shine through in wines of exceptional concentration and character.
