Champagne paul louis Martin
About the Winery
Champagne Paul Louis Martin was founded in 1864 in Bouzy, one of only 17 villages classified as Grand Cru in Champagne. The family property has been passed down through five generations, with Francine Martin currently leading the house alongside her son Vincent. The estate extends over more than 18 hectares of vineyard, predominantly planted with Pinot Noir, the grape variety for which Bouzy is most famous. In addition to their renowned champagnes, the house also produces still red wines known as 'Bouzy Rouge' from Pinot Noir. The village's exceptional terroir features a south-facing exposition on chalky soil with a remarkable microclimate protected from northern winds by the Montagne de Reims. All champagnes preserve the character developed by the house's founder, Paul Louis Martin, combining tradition, precision, and manual craftsmanship.
“Fifth-generation family Champagne house in Grand Cru Bouzy since 1864, with 18 hectares of vineyards.”
