Bruno Monfray is a winegrower in Théizé, in the Pierres Dorées (Golden Stones) region of southern Beaujolais. The area is known for its distinctive ochre-colored limestone buildings and rolling hills covered with vineyards. Monfray produces wines from Gamay grapes grown on the clay-limestone soils of the region, crafting Beaujolais and Beaujolais-Villages wines. The wines are characterized by their fruit-forward style, freshness, and approachability, typical of the southern Beaujolais style.
