Domaine les Capréoles
About the Winery
Domaine Les Capréoles is a 6.7-hectare estate in Régnié-Durette, in the Régnié cru of Beaujolais. The domaine is managed by Cédric Lecareux and his wife Catherine, who took over the family estate and named it Les Capréoles after the wild vine tendrils that climb through the region's hedgerows. The estate is certified organic, cultivating 100-year-old Gamay vines on the pink granite and sandy soils that give Régnié its distinctive character. The wines are crafted using traditional Beaujolais techniques, with semi-carbonic maceration, and are known for their elegance, floral aromatics, and silky texture. The estate produces two main cuvées: Le cuvée Les Capréoles and Le cuvée Cédric & Catherine.
“An organic estate in Régnié with 100-year-old Gamay vines, named after the wild vine tendrils of Beaujolais.”
