About the Winery

Domaine Maurice Lapalus et Fils is a family estate located in Pierreclos, in the Mâconnais region of southern Burgundy. The Lapalus family has been making wine for four generations, with the estate now managed by Jean-Philippe and Guillaume Lapalus. The domaine covers 30 hectares of vineyards, producing wines from the Mâcon-Pierreclos, Mâcon-Villages, Bourgogne, and Crémant de Bourgogne appellations. The estate is certified organic and biodynamic (Demeter), practicing sustainable viticulture that respects the environment. The vineyards are planted on clay-limestone and marl soils, typical of the Mâconnais, and the wines are known for their freshness, fruit expression, and mineral character.
