About the Winery

Domaine Salvy is a family estate of 13 hectares in Cahuzac-sur-Vère, near Gaillac in southwest France. The Salvy family has been cultivating vines for three generations, with Gilles and Laurent Salvy currently at the helm. The estate produces wines in the AOC Gaillac appellation, as well as IGP wines, from traditional southwest grape varieties including Mauzac, Loin de l'Oeil, Braucol, and Duras. The vineyards are planted on the rolling hillsides of the Tarn Valley on clay-limestone soils, benefiting from a temperate climate influenced by both the Atlantic and the Mediterranean. The estate is known for producing fresh, approachable wines that reflect the character of the Gaillac terroir, including their sparkling wines made by the méthode traditionnelle.
