About the Winery

Domaine Bernard Sevin is a family estate in the Cour-Cheverny appellation of the Loire Valley, with four generations of winemaking history. The estate specializes in Cour-Cheverny, a unique appellation made exclusively from Romorantin grapes—a rare variety originally planted by François I. The domaine also produces Cheverny and Crémant de Loire wines. Located near the famous Chambord castle, the estate has 18 hectares of vineyards on sandy-clay soils over limestone bedrock. Cyrille Sevin took over the domaine in 2014, introducing organic farming practices. The wines are known for their elegance, freshness, and distinct expression of the Romorantin grape, which produces wines with floral aromas, citrus notes, and excellent aging potential.
