Domaine des Escaravatiers
About the Winery
Domaine des Escaravatiers is a historic estate in Provence with vineyards that date back to Roman times when Julius Caesar granted these lands to veterans of his legions. The Costamagna family has been cultivating the estate since 1928, managing approximately 30 hectares of vineyards planted on clay-limestone soils. The domaine is currently in conversion to organic farming. The estate is known for hosting summer concerts featuring artists, combining wine and culture. Their wines include Côtes de Provence reds, whites, and Roses that express the warm Mediterranean climate and diverse terroir of the region.
“A historic Provencal estate since 1928 with Roman-era vineyard origins, in conversion to organic farming.”
