About the Winery

Domaine Maurice Griss is an 8.5-hectare family estate in Ammerschwihr, northwest of Colmar in Alsace. In 2004, Josiane Griss took over the family property, which includes vines in the prestigious Grand Cru Kaefferkopf. Her niece Marion Strosser joined her on the estate, which obtained organic certification in 2020. The domaine produces wines from classic Alsatian grape varieties, with a focus on expressing the unique terroirs of Ammerschwihr and the Kaefferkopf Grand Cru. Their wines are known for their elegance, purity, and expression of the region's granitic and clay-limestone soils.
