Maison Pettermann
About the Winery
Maison Pettermann is a family-owned winery founded in 1928 by Fernand Pettermann in Dambach-la-Ville, Alsace. The estate has been passed down through three generations, with Didier Pettermann taking over in 2004. Today, the domaine covers 20 hectares around Dambach-la-Ville and produces wines from all seven Alsatian grape varieties: Sylvaner, Auxerrois, Pinot Blanc, Muscat, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, and Pinot Noir. The estate is certified HVE (Haute Valeur Environnementale) and is in conversion to organic farming. They also produce Crémant d'Alsace and late harvest wines. Their philosophy emphasizes careful vineyard work, manual harvesting, and respect for the different terroirs of Alsace.
“A three-generation Alsatian estate since 1928, producing wines from all seven Alsatian grape varieties across 20 hectares.”
