About the Winery
Château La Louvière is a major Pessac-Léognan estate owned by André Lurton and his family, spanning 30 hectares. Classified among the best wines of its appellation, it produces both red and white wines. Since 1965, the Lurton family has been working to establish Château La Louvière among the greatest wines of Bordeaux. André Lurton, then just 26, took over the estate and devoted his life to restoring its reputation and quality. The vineyard is planted on Garonne gravel soils, producing wines of remarkable elegance and aging potential.
