About the Winery
Denis Dubourdieu (1949-2016) was a Bordeaux legend, as famous in the wine world for his technical research and consulting work as for his own domaines. In addition to consulting for Petrus and Margaux, he was a professor of oenology at the University of Bordeaux and was inducted into the Decanter Hall of Fame in 2016. His estate portfolio included Château Reynon in Graves, Château Doisy-Daëne in Sauternes, and Château Cantegril in Barsac. Today, his sons Jean-Jacques and Fabrice manage the family estates, continuing their father's legacy of excellence in Bordeaux winemaking.
“The legacy of legendary Bordeaux oenologist Denis Dubourdieu, continued by his sons Jean-Jacques and Fabrice across multiple estates.”
