Château de Font Vive

About the Winery

The Barthès family manages two estates: Château de Font Vive and Château Barthès, located in the restanques (terraced hillsides) of the Val d'Arenc in the Bandol region. The vineyard is exposed south-southwest on terraces across the communes of Le Beausset, Sanary, La Cadière d'Azur, Le Castellet, and Evenos. The estate practices traditional and reasoned cultivation with gobelet pruning and manual harvesting on the hillsides, with yields of 35-40 hl/ha. The wines are regularly featured in the Guide des Roses for their consistent quality.
