Château Petit Bocq

3 rue de la Croix-de-Pez, 33180 Saint-Estèphe, France

About the Winery

Château Petit Bocq is a Saint-Estèphe estate founded in 1971 by the Souquet family. The property was acquired by Dr. Gaëtan Lagneaux in 1993 and is now managed by the Lagneaux family. Its unique feature is a mosaic of 90 different plots scattered across the appellation, totaling 22.5 hectares on gravelly soils with some clay. The vineyard is planted to 49% Merlot, 49% Cabernet Sauvignon, 1% Petit Verdot, and 1% Cabernet Franc. After the premature death of Gaëtan Lagneaux in 2012, his son Adrien took over the reins. The wines are aged in French oak barrels (35% new) for 14 months.

A Saint-Estèphe Cru Bourgeois with 22.5 hectares spread across 90 unique parcels, known for consistent quality.
