Le Cellier d'Éguilles
About the Winery
Le Cellier d'Éguilles is a cooperative cellar founded in 1923 by winegrowers under the presidency of Lucien Fauchier, located in the heart of the sun-drenched Provençal village of Éguilles, just 8 km from Aix-en-Provence. Today, over 40 cooperative members cultivate around 260 hectares of AOP Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence and IGP Pays des Bouches-du-Rhône vineyards. The wines are aged and cared for in their cellars with particular attention to detail and regularly win awards. The vines are grown on limestone and stony soils using integrated farming methods with an increasing proportion certified High Environmental Value, or organic farming. For more than 20 years, the winegrowers have made regular efforts to improve their vineyards and produce quality wines. Roses represent about 80% of production, with whites at 10% and reds at 10%.
