Maison Jamet

1, 37140 Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil, France

About the Winery

Annick and Francis Jamet created their estate in 1986: 10 hectares initially, 26 today, producing Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil and Bourgueil wines, as well as Anjou Blanc. After export sales experience for a Saumur house, François, the son, returned to the estate in 2001. He was joined in 2008 by his brother Antoine who trained in Australia and Spain. In 2012, the brothers took over Le Clos du Vigneau (Saint-Nicolas), in their cousin Alain Jamet's family since 1820 and the family's historic home. A négociant structure complements their activity. The estate now encompasses 20 hectares of Cabernet Franc in Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil, 3 hectares in Bourgueil, and 3 hectares in Anjou.

A 26-hectare Loire estate with 8 generations of winemaking history, producing Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil, Bourgueil and Anjou wines.
