About the Winery
In 1980, Gilbert Gasparotto oriented this estate, which had been in his family for centuries, towards viticulture. In 2006, his son Yannick partnered with him before taking over the estate the following year. He expanded the vineyard to 33 hectares, including 16 hectares of Négrette, the signature grape of Fronton. The Fronton appellation, located northwest of Toulouse, is characterized by the Négrette grape which produces distinctive violet-scented, peppery wines with silky tannins. The estate's gravelly soils on the Tarn river terraces give the wines their freshness and elegance.
“A 33-hectare Fronton estate with 16 hectares of Négrette, now led by Yannick Gasparotto since 2007.”
